Role Overview

Universal Banker at ADIB, Dubai Mall Branch, Dubai. This role is for UAE Nationals only.

Role Purpose

Provide exceptional customer service, identify and meet customer needs, and contribute to the overall success of the ADIB Branch. This role combines Helpdesk and Customer Relationship Officer functions under the Branch development concept.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Issue Resolution

• Provide prompt and efficient service to all walk-in customers
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns
• Resolve issues effectively and efficiently
• Proactively identify customer needs and offer relevant products and services

Finance Products

• Support Liability Onboarding
• Support Covered Card products

Banking Services

• Handle Debit Card inquiries
• Address Accounts general inquiries
• Send SMS to customers
• Process Police Letter requests for returned cheques
• Deliver Dispute Services
• Set up, cancel, and amend Standing Orders
• Process Funds Transfer and Telex Transfer requests
• Process Installment Postponement requests
• Issue Certificates
• Issue E-Statements
• Manage Returned Cheque Services including receive, deliver, and send to CCU
• Manage Debit Card and cheque book services including receive, deliver, and destruct

Asset Sales & Additional Responsibilities

• Perform asset sales activities as directed; any targets or incentive will be discussed and agreed separately
• Perform any other responsibilities entrusted by Branch management from time to time

Skills & Competencies

• Demonstrate knowledge of ADIB's Retail and Institutional Banking products and services
• Demonstrate knowledge of ADIB's Operational Policies and Procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, and risks
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all regulations issued by Central Bank of UAE
• Maintain fair knowledge of service standards
• Demonstrate knowledge of Cross Sales
• Apply computer skills
