Role Overview

Universal Banker at ADIB, Dubai. This position is for UAE Nationals only.

Role Purpose

This role combines Helpdesk and Customer Relationship Officer functions within the Branch development concept. The role focuses on providing exceptional customer service, identifying and meeting customer needs, and contributing to the overall success of the ADIB Branch.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Provide prompt and efficient service to all walk-in customers
• Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and resolve issues effectively and efficiently
• Perform any other responsibilities entrusted by Branch management from time to time

Proactive Sales & Product Identification

• Proactively identify customer needs and offer relevant products and services

Finance Products

• Execute Liability Onboarding
• Process Covered Card applications and services

Banking Services

• Handle Debit Card inquiries
• Address Accounts General Inquiries
• Send SMS communications to customers
• Process Police Letters for Returned Cheques
• Manage Dispute Services
• Execute Standing Order Setup, Cancellation, and Amendment
• Facilitate Funds Transfer and Telex Transfer
• Process Installment Postponement requests
• Issue Certificates
• Issue E-Statements
• Manage Returned Cheque Services including receipt, delivery, and submission to CCU
• Manage Debit Card and Cheque Book Services including receipt, delivery, and destruction

Assets Sales

• Conduct Assets sales activities as directed, with nominal activity planned for 2025; any targets or incentives to be discussed and agreed separately

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of ADIB's Retail and Institutional Banking products and services
• Knowledge of ADIB's Operational Policies and Procedures
• Knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, and risks
• Thorough knowledge of all regulations issued by Central Bank of UAE
• Fair knowledge of service standards
• Knowledge of Cross Sales techniques
• Computer skills
