Treasury Business Relationship Manager

Role Overview

Treasury Business Relationship Manager at TAWANTECH. This role owns business-IT alignment for Treasury initiatives, including Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) and treasury platform development.

Role Purpose

Build and maintain alignment between Treasury business objectives and IT delivery capabilities. Develop business cases that balance strategic priorities with feasibility, facilitate communication between Treasury stakeholders and IT teams, and shepherd initiatives from conception through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Alignment & Initiative Ownership

• Own the initiative lifecycle from intake through business case approval and delivery
• Keep Treasury initiatives aligned with the bank's strategy program
• Partner with Treasury business unit heads to identify, shape, and prioritize initiatives
• Track progress against plan

Business Case Development

• Build end-to-end business cases that include rationale, expected benefits, cost estimates, and delivery feasibility
• Balance treasury business objectives with delivery feasibility

Requirements Translation & Stakeholder Communication

• Translate Treasury business requirements into scope that IT Delivery can plan and estimate
• Translate delivery constraints back into business trade-offs
• Facilitate communication between Treasury stakeholders and IT Delivery teams

Vendor & Platform Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams on treasury platform and API solution options

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare initiative documentation and status updates for management
• Identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies proactively

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; MBA a plus
• 5–8 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or business relationship management, ideally in treasury or markets operations
• Strong understanding of treasury products, platforms, and operations
• Proven experience building business cases that bridge business value and IT delivery
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred
• Familiarity with SAMA regulatory requirements relevant to treasury

• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Arabic
