Role Purpose
As a Training Officer, you will ensure crew training activities are governed by robust compliance frameworks and aligned with national and international aviation regulations. You will support the development and maintenance of training processes, reporting standards and governance practices that promote consistency, transparency and regulatory compliance across Crew Training operations.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all crew training programmes comply with national and international aviation regulations, maintaining adherence to all applicable regulatory standards.
- Develop, implement and maintain training processes and workflows that ensure crew training and checking activities remain aligned with national and international regulations.
- Monitor compliance with national and international training regulations using data analysis tools.
- Support the continuous improvement of training governance, compliance monitoring and reporting practices.
Audit & Non-Conformity Management
- Address and resolve discrepancies identified through audits and ensure appropriate documentation and reporting is provided to regulatory authorities where required.
- Respond to audit findings, address non-conformities and implement corrective actions relating to crew training activities.
Data & Reporting
- Ensure training procedures and data reporting remain of the highest quality, supporting transparency, consistency and effective governance.
- Design and implement data analysis tools that support accurate, effective and insightful reporting.
Project & Task Management
- Follow through on projects, initiatives and tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree educated, preferably in Safety Management, Training Management, Compliance Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of operational experience, preferably within Training or Compliance in the aviation industry.
