Role Overview
Trainee - Supply Planning at Chalhoub Group. This is an entry-level position supporting supply chain operations across the Group's luxury retail portfolio.

Role Purpose
The Trainee - Supply Planning role exists to support the execution of supply chain operations by managing purchase orders, monitoring stock levels, coordinating product launches, and providing data analysis to enable category planning and cross-functional decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase Order Management
- Create and process purchase orders accurately and in line with brand and category requirements.
- Monitor purchase order status, resolve discrepancies, and ensure all records are maintained and reconciled.
Inventory & Replenishment
- Track stock levels across stores and warehouses to maintain optimal availability of core and hero products.
- Initiate replenishment orders based on sales trends, stock coverage, and upcoming activations.
Launch & Logistics Coordination
- Track shipment and delivery schedules to guarantee on-time availability for launch dates.
- Manage timing and logistics for new product launches in collaboration with brand, logistics, and retail teams.
Analytics & Reporting
- Collect and consolidate sales, stock, and purchase data to support category planning and decision-making.
- Analyze performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Share regular reports and key insights with management and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify key insights.
- Numerically driven with high attention to accuracy and detail.
- Demonstrates a strong aptitude for numbers, systems, and process optimization.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with data, formulas, and reports.
- Highly organized and methodical, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and functions.
- Proactive and curious, eager to learn and continuously improve processes.
