Role Purpose
Support traffic management activities across active road construction sites by inspecting traffic arrangements, ensuring proper implementation of approved traffic management plans, monitoring on-site traffic flow, and coordinating with contractors and authorities to maintain safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Traffic Inspection & Verification
- Inspect and verify traffic diversion setups on site as per approved Traffic Management Plans (TMPs).
- Conduct site assessments to identify risks and provide solutions for safe vehicle and pedestrian movement.
- Ensure proper installation and maintenance of signage, barriers, cones, delineators, and lighting.
Monitoring & Safety
- Monitor live traffic conditions and recommend corrective actions to ensure smooth flow and safety.
- Ensure compliance with local traffic regulations and safety standards.
- Report non-conformities and follow up on rectifications.
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and government authorities on diversion arrangements.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily site inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on site experience in traffic inspection or traffic diversions in road construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of traffic control devices, road safety procedures, and diversion execution.
- Experience working with live traffic environments and fast-paced construction sites.
- Ability to interpret and enforce Traffic Management Plans.
- Familiarity with Saudi traffic regulations and standards.
