Wood PLC is recruiting a Technical Professional Engineer III (Electrical) to work in its office in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose
To provide technical engineering expertise in the design, monitoring, and quality assurance of electrical installations and systems on construction and project management contract (PMC) assignments, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Specifications
- Establish designs and performance specifications to fulfill the requirements of assigned general specifications for components, systems, and processes.
- Review vendor documents.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Participate actively in design reviews.
- Monitor construction activities, electrical installations, and testing activities.
- Witness contractors' quality control inspections to ensure that permanent works are constructed according to applicable codes, standards, approved drawings, specifications, and associated health, safety, and environment standards and requirements.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting
- Attend site and office meetings with contractors.
- Prepare reports and minutes on meetings and associated activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Electrical Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of engineering experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with construction or PMC firms.
- Thorough knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, international codes, standards, procedures, and specifications.
- Experience with both standalone projects and portfolio projects is desirable.
