The firm provides full EPC&M services for electrical and instrumentation works, offering localized expertise in measurement and automation of exploration, production, separation, refining processes, and distribution.

Role Purpose

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and commission telecom systems in oil & gas facilities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards while supporting operational continuity and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Cable Management

• Install and terminate fiber optic and copper cables.
• Handle installation activities during commissioning and startup phases.

Maintenance & Testing

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of communication equipment.
• Maintain and test CCTV systems, PAGA systems, telephone systems, radio communication systems, LAN/WAN networks, access control systems, and structured cabling systems.
• Conduct loop checks and signal testing on telecom systems.

Troubleshooting & Repair

• Troubleshoot faults in communication systems and perform repairs with minimum downtime.
• Identify and resolve system failures across all telecom platforms.

Commissioning & Technical Activities

• Conduct system commissioning activities.
• Support commissioning and startup activities during projects.
• Read and interpret telecom drawings, schematics, and layouts.

Compliance & Coordination

• Ensure all telecom systems comply with project specifications and safety standards.
• Follow HSE procedures and permit-to-work systems at site.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other disciplines during shutdowns and projects.

Documentation & Records

• Maintain records of maintenance activities and inspection reports.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma, ITI, or Technical Certification in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, or relevant technical trade.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
• Experience in Oil & Gas onshore projects.
• Familiarity with industrial telecom systems and hazardous area environments preferred.
