Technician

Role Overview

Technician at Rawafid. The role is based on-site and in workshop environments supporting construction projects.

Role Purpose

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and systems used in construction projects. Ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely through technical expertise, collaboration with engineers and technical staff, and implementation of preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems on-site or in the workshop.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics

• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, providing effective solutions to restore operations.

Documentation & Records

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working to prevent hazards and ensure a safe work environment.

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to communicate equipment status and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and advancements in the industry to enhance technical proficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers as a technician.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technician role within the construction or industrial sector.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment related to maintenance and repair.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a technical environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
