Role Overview
Technician at Galadari Brothers.
Role Purpose
Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of construction and heavy equipment using mechanical and electronic tools, while maintaining equipment standards, training junior staff, and ensuring quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Perform maintenance and repairs of equipment.
- Diagnose and repair various systems on construction and heavy equipment by using mechanical and electronic special tools.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions in equipment, recommend parts, and carry out repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance services, check and carry out adjustments, and maintain related fluid levels.
- Perform machine detail inspection and troubleshooting of machine systems.
- Use repair manuals to repair and diagnose machine problems.
Planning & Documentation
- Write technical reports regarding failures to be presented internally or to customers.
- List the required parts to ensure repair completion as per principal recommendation.
- List other requirements for repair, such as lubrication and outside services.
- Discuss the repair duration and repair plan with supervisors.
Quality & Cost Control
- Ensure that estimated repair parts or other charges are within quoted amounts.
- Ensure that the quality of work is at the highest level to avoid rework.
Maintenance of Tools & Workspace
- Upkeep of special tools, equipment, and work area to keep them clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Maintain workshop tools and machine service manuals.
Training & Development
- Assist and train lower level staff in mechanical repair techniques.
General Duties
- Perform additional related work as assigned.

- Demonstrate compliance with health and safety laws as per company policy.
