Technician - Diagnostic

Role Overview

Technician - Diagnostic at Al Ghurair. The role focuses on vehicle inspection, diagnosis, and maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and computer systems.

Role Purpose

Diagnose and repair vehicle engine, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems with accuracy. Conduct routine maintenance to ensure vehicle functionality and longevity. Support junior technicians and maintain diagnostic quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnosis & Inspection

• Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.
• Diagnose vehicles assigned for repair requirements.

Maintenance & Operations

• Conduct routine maintenance work including replacing fluids and lubricating parts.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.

Quality & Standards

• Ensure quality by producing extremely low levels of return jobs.
• Explain work done or required to be done clearly to other technicians, Service Advisors, Supervisors and customers.

Support & Development

• Support junior technicians on complicated complaints.
• Suggest training needs for other technicians.
• Undergo training and update self-knowledge regularly.
• Undertake great effort to improve efficiency by providing constructive inputs regarding work methods, work environment, tools and equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the same field with multi-brand experience.
• UAE driving license is mandatory.
• Experience in multi-brand cars is a definite advantage.
