Technician-Automotive at Burjline Builders. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to navigate cutting-edge and unparalleled bespoke luxury.
Role Purpose
Repair, replace, and verify automotive components and subsystems to ensure vehicle functionality and quality standards. Work with precision on luxury vehicles while adhering to BMW guidelines and maintaining strict safety and environmental protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Repair & Maintenance
- Repair or replace broken or worn out parts.
- Verify vehicle functions and subsystems.
- Use checklists, repair instructions, tools and test equipment adhered to current BMW guidelines.
Coordination & Communication
- Provide information to the supervisor about preapproval for additional repair.
- Notify the service advisor and service assistant immediately of work interruptions resulting from additionally required work, complications, missing parts, or missed deadlines.
Equipment & Resource Management
- Handle tools, special tools, and work clothing properly.
- Use equipment cost-effectively.
- Hand over dismantled, replacement, or warranty parts to the warranty department cleaned and labelled.
Safety & Compliance
- Dispose waste according to local legislated guidelines.
- Observe accident prevention guidelines.
- Report incidents to supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience working as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role.
- A relevant vocational qualification or certification in automotive technology or mechanics.
- In-depth knowledge of various vehicle systems, including electrical, engine, and transmission.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in using a wide range of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
