Role Overview
Technical Support – Autonomous Vehicles at Burjline Builders. The role provides operational technical support for autonomous vehicle testing and operation, working closely with R&D and Quality Assurance teams to ensure daily testing schedules are successfully delivered.
Role Purpose
Support the testing and operation of autonomous vehicles by providing operational technical assistance with vehicle software and version updates, testing scenarios, routes and stop configurations, and by facilitating communication between R&D, QA, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Operations Support
- Liaise closely with R&D and QA teams regarding autonomous vehicle testing activities.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of different vehicle testing scenarios.
- Support route and stop configuration requirements for daily testing.
- Ensure technical preparations support daily vehicle testing schedules.
- Support validation of vehicle version iteration results.
Vehicle Software & Updates
- Coordinate vehicle software and version updates.
- Ensure required vehicle updates are completed in a timely manner.
Communication & Improvement
- Provide operational feedback to relevant technical teams.
- Identify and communicate technical or operational issues affecting testing activities.
- Support continuous improvement of autonomous vehicle testing and operational processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant technical background within automotive, engineering, IT, autonomous vehicles or a related field is preferred.
- Experience supporting technical testing, QA, R&D or vehicle operations would be advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of software and technology-based systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively between technical and operational teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow testing procedures.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced technology and automotive environment.
