Role Overview
Technical Service Manager - Well Construction at Weatherford UAE. This role combines technical knowledge with sales acumen to drive revenue growth while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Role Purpose
Drive sales of Weatherford's Well Construction technical products and services, develop and maintain relationships with key clients, and provide technical expertise to support the sales and service process.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share across assigned regions and customer accounts.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and client engagement.
- Provide technical expertise and commercial guidance to support business development initiatives and contract negotiations.
Technical & Commercial Delivery
- Own technical and commercial delivery of Well Construction services, including Liner Hangers, Cementing and Completions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical and commercial presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective and existing customers.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients through regular meetings, technical discussions, and presentations.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Applications Engineers and Technical Sales Engineers, driving performance and customer satisfaction.
Operational Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with customer requirements.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure the highest standards of Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (QHSSE) compliance are embedded within all operations and activities.
- Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and environmental responsibilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- 15+ years within Oil & Gas industry.
- Minimum of 5 years product line experience of Well Construction products such as Liner Hanger, Cementing or Completions.
- Background in Technical Sales.
- Experience of Technical Investigation reports.
- Experience of conducting presentations.
- Engineering Degree with mechanically oriented background.
- Experience of working in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal.
- Ability to submit Technical Investigation reports.
