Role Overview
Technical Service Engineer – Jewellery Machinery at Burjline Builders, based in the UAE with customer-site travel across Dubai, Sharjah, Northern Emirates and GCC.
Role Purpose
Install, commission, diagnose and maintain jewellery machinery and electronic systems. Provide technical support to customers through repair, preventive maintenance and training services across multiple emirates and GCC locations.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
- Install and commission jewellery machinery.
Maintenance & Repair
- Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Diagnose and repair machinery and electronic faults.
- Troubleshoot circuit boards and electronic components.
Technical Diagnostics
- Read circuit diagrams and wiring schematics.
- Work with multimeters, oscilloscopes and other diagnostic equipment.
Customer Support
- Train customers on machine operation.
- Coordinate with international suppliers' technical teams for troubleshooting and support.
Equipment Serviced
Equipment includes: CNC machines, 3D printers, casting machines, induction melting furnaces, laser welding and marking machines, rolling mills, polishing and cleaning machines, electroplating rectifiers and ultrasonic cleaners.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 2–5 years' experience servicing industrial machinery.
- Hands-on circuit-board repair and fine SMD soldering experience.
- Jewellery machinery experience is a strong advantage but not mandatory.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of power electronics, rectifiers, power supplies and induction heating systems.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs, controllers, touchscreens and stepper and servo drives.
- Multimeter and oscilloscope operation.
Additional Information
- UAE driving licence required.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and occasionally abroad for supplier training.
