Technical Pre-Sales Consultant – HPE at Ingram Micro, based in the Gulf region.

Role Purpose
Act as a trusted advisor bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Design and propose networking solutions using Juniper and Aruba (HPE Networking) technologies, collaborating with sales teams, vendors, and channel partners to translate complex technologies into practical business outcomes for customers while aligning global strategies with the unique needs of the regional market.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Delivery
- Collaborate with sales teams to gather customer business and technical requirements.
- Design and propose networking solutions using Juniper and Aruba (HPE Networking) technologies.
- Deliver customer presentations, technical workshops, and product demonstrations.
Documentation & Proposals
- Prepare technical documentation including network designs (HLD/LLD), bills of materials (BOMs), statements of work (SOWs), and proposals.
- Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
Technical Support & Advisory
- Provide technical consulting and support proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and proof-of-values (PoVs).
- Stay updated on networking technologies while supporting partners and clients.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in networking with hands-on exposure to Juniper products and solution design.
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching (MX, EX, QFX, SRX).
- Experience with protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN-VXLAN, and SD-WAN.
- Experience across enterprise networking, data center, security, wireless, and cloud networking domains.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.

- Deep understanding of partner and end-customer needs with ability to build trust through consistent and responsive support.
- Ability to present complex technical concepts with clarity, adapting communication style to different audiences from engineers to business decision-makers.
