Role Overview
Technical Office Engineer (Piping) with Archirodon Group N.V, based on a major Oil & Gas EPC project site office in the UAE.

Role Purpose
Provide technical engineering support for piping works on a major Oil & Gas EPC project in the UAE, ensuring compliance with international codes and project specifications while coordinating across engineering, construction, quality, procurement and planning teams.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Documentation & Review
- Review and interpret piping drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, specifications, and other engineering documents for construction activities.
- Prepare and review technical submittals, method statements, material submittals, RFIs, and Technical Queries (TQs).
- Monitor engineering revisions and ensure the latest approved drawings and documents are available at the construction site.
- Assist in the preparation and review of as-built drawings and project handover documentation.
- Coordinate with the Document Control team to maintain accurate engineering records, document revisions, and controlled copies of drawings.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure piping works comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications, ASME, API, and other applicable international codes and standards.
- Verify familiarity with ADNOC engineering standards, project specifications, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.
Construction Support & Coordination
- Provide technical support during piping fabrication, installation, hydrotesting, reinstatement, and pre-commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Procurement, and Planning teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Participate in constructability reviews and provide technical solutions to improve construction efficiency and project execution.
- Attend technical coordination meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders as required.
Procurement & Material Management
- Review Material Take-Offs (MTOs), piping material specifications, and material requirements, and support procurement activities as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in piping engineering or technical office functions within Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- Minimum 3 years of experience on ADNOC projects or similar GCC Oil & Gas facilities is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of piping construction, fabrication, installation, and testing requirements.
- Experience in preparing engineering documentation and resolving construction-related technical issues.
Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of ASME, API, ASTM, and other relevant piping codes and standards.
- Familiarity with ADNOC engineering standards and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.
- Excellent coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
