Role Purpose
Deliver technical expertise and clinical support for Structural Heart procedures and solutions within an assigned geographic area. Build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and organizations while promoting Medtronic products and optimizing clinical support pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Stakeholder Engagement
- Promote Medtronic products and services within assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts.
- Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders.
- Partner with physicians and hospital personnel on products and solutions.
- Work closely with commercial organization to recommend enhancements in sales processes and product launches.
Clinical and Technical Support
- Support technical and clinical needs at hospitals including therapy indications, pre-procedure planning, intra-operative support, and post-implant patient management.
- Provide technical expertise through presentations and product demonstrations.
- Conduct on-site education and consulting.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of customer relations with healthcare professionals and organizations.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
Knowledge Management and Development
- Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders.
- Stay up to date on new products, solutions, and patient management offerings through ongoing technical development.
- Maintain familiarity with current products, technologies, and market trends.
Travel and Operations
- Travel to customer clinics, hospitals, and offsite meetings with 60–70% expected travel time.
- Remain independently mobile while performing job duties.
- Participate in cross-functional assignments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years' experience in the medical device industry and/or working in a hospital environment.
- Deep understanding of pain management and neuromodulation therapies.
- Experience supporting Structural Heart procedures (TAVI and TPVI).
- Familiarity with operating theatre environment, including sterilization and radiation protocols.
- Ability to teach and educate medical personnel, peers, and technical support personnel.
- Nice-to-have qualifications: familiarity with radiology protocols and imaging technology, thorough working knowledge of medical terminology and the medical device industry, prior hospital or clinic experience, ability to coordinate and participate in multiple tasks or projects within a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong organization and consistently meeting deadlines.
