Role Overview
Tech Lead at Ebra. This strategic leadership role guides talented engineers, shapes technical architecture, and drives development of scalable, AI-powered platforms and fintech applications.
Role Purpose
Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance web applications while mentoring software engineers, enforcing code quality standards, and collaborating across product, data science, and design teams to build impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance web applications
- Mentor and support software engineers in their growth and development
- Enforce high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation
Technical Architecture & Development
- Architect full-stack solutions using Next.js and Node.js
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries
- Implement clean, responsive UI using Tailwind CSS
- Be a hands-on contributor, especially for complex features or critical fixes
- Integrate AI/ML features using Python (preferred)
Collaboration & Innovation
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and designers to build impactful solutions
- Stay current with modern development trends, AI technologies, and fintech innovations
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- 2+ years in a leadership or Tech Lead position
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in Next.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in Tailwind CSS and scalable UI frameworks
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
- Passion for mentoring, team empowerment, and hands-on coding
- Working knowledge of Python for backend or AI/ML tasks (preferred)
