Role Overview
Team Leader at Alghanim Industries. The role is responsible for improving the Customer Service Index through prompt customer attendance, timely delivery, and adherence to FIRFT (fix it right first time) principles, resulting in increased revenue.
Role Purpose
Lead a team of technicians to deliver high-quality automotive service, maximize productivity and customer satisfaction, minimize comeback jobs, and ensure all work is completed within promised delivery timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Job Management
- Open and process job cards.
- Control and monitor jobs based on technician ability to achieve highest productivity and customer satisfaction and lowest comeback jobs.
- Ensure each job is completed within the promised delivery time.
- Diagnose technical problems with and without diagnostic tools.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct quality checks and road testing of vehicles.
- Verify clear basics and concepts of automotive service technique are applied.
Team Management
- Evaluate and monitor performance of technicians against set standards.
- Identify need for necessary training or coaching support.
- Keep technicians motivated and focused to improve efficiency and productivity.
Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensure that company's health and safety policies are followed.
- Keep all tools and equipment in good order.
- Maintain housekeeping standards to preserve a safe, healthy working environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of working experience in dealership.
- Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
Skills & Competencies
- Good command of both English and Arabic.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Computer literate.
- Team player with ability to work under pressure.
