Team Lead - Payroll & Data Management at Al Futtaim Group, based in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Role Purpose
Oversee payroll operations across Southeast Asia and the Middle East, combining hands-on payroll expertise with team management, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement to ensure compliance and operational excellence across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Operations
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing across SEA/MENA regions, including source-to-gross and gross-to-net calculations, off-cycle payments, and exception handling.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific statutory requirements including tax filings, social insurance contributions, and timely remittances.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a payroll team while establishing standardized processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Controls & Governance
- Maintain robust payroll controls through approvals, reconciliations, system interfaces, and support for internal and external audits.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in payroll management across multiple countries with knowledge of regional compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop team members.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership skills.
- Expertise in payroll systems, data management, and process optimization.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to engage stakeholders and deliver accurate reporting.
