Role Purpose

Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction, help students build strong numerical and problem-solving skills, and collaborate with the mathematics department to support learners across relevant year groups.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Curriculum

• Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons across relevant year groups.
• Develop schemes of work aligned with the school's curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to support learners at all levels.

Assessment & Feedback

• Assess student progress and provide regular, meaningful feedback.
• Prepare students for relevant external examinations where applicable.

Student Development

• Foster a positive attitude towards mathematics among students.

Collaboration & Safeguarding

• Collaborate with the wider mathematics department.
• Uphold safeguarding standards at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching mathematics at school level.
• Strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
