Taxi Driver

Role Overview

Taxi Driver position with Al Ghurair.

Role Purpose

Provide safe, reliable transportation to passengers while maintaining vehicle standards, adhering to traffic regulations, and managing fare collection and dispatch communication.

Key Responsibilities

Fare Management

• Turn off the taximeter immediately when the taxi stops and collect fare from the passenger.
• Reset the taximeter immediately after each run or before another run.

Vehicle & Safety Standards

• Adhere to all traffic regulations and pay all necessary levies.
• Ensure that the taxi is kept in a clean and working condition at all times.
• Ensure safe and timely conveyance of passengers to their destinations.

Passenger Service

• Pick up passengers from their locations on request.
• Help passengers load and unload their luggage, especially when the load is heavy or when the passenger is carrying children and needs assistance.
• Assist passengers to board and exit the taxi when needed.

Dispatch & Communication

• Ensure regular communication with the dispatcher before, during, and after each trip.
• Avoid answering unnecessary and lengthy calls while driving.
• Submit accident reports when needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• UAE Driving License.
• Any high school degree.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of driving.
• English speaking and writing.
