Systems Engineer Lead

Role Overview

Systems Engineer Lead at PingWind, located in Kuwait. This role provides technical leadership in the design, integration, implementation, and lifecycle management of complex systems and enterprise architectures.

Role Purpose

Lead technical strategy and oversee systems engineering teams to ensure that technical solutions align with organizational objectives, operational requirements, and industry standards. Serve as the primary authority for systems architecture, integration, and performance optimization across multiple technical domains.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Lead the design and development of complex systems architectures, ensuring integration across hardware, software, networks, and operational processes.
• Define system requirements, technical specifications, and design standards.
• Develop and manage system requirements documentation, technical baselines, and configuration management processes.

Operations & Support

• Provide operational support with proficiency and experience in Port Security, IP Networking, Microsoft Active Directory, Data Storage, Network Appliance Data Storage Filers, Near Store Appliance, SnapMirror, SnapRestore, SnapManager for Exchange, Virtual File Manager, AUDS, and Cloud Services.
• Ensure operational support and server administration involving the performance of component server and workstation connections, configuration, integration, and testing.

Performance & Compliance

• Ensure systems meet performance, reliability, scalability, and security requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years of experience in a strategic DoD position engineering IT solutions for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CPN-X.
• Bachelor's Degree desired.

Skills & Certifications

• Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8570.01 M compliance for IAT Level III required.
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) with Virtual Certifications (VCP6) required, or NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) required.

Additional Information

• Salary Range: $108,000 - $150,000. The pay range is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include job responsibilities, education, certifications, experience, internal equity mapping and alignment with market data, or other applicable laws.
