Systems Engineer – KSA at Azeus Systems Limited. The role is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and supports Azeus Convene, a multi-awarded meeting and collaboration solution for Boards and Leadership Teams.

Azeus Systems Limited develops Azeus Convene, a meeting and collaboration platform serving Boards and Leadership Teams. The client base operates across more than 100 countries and has been recognized by reputable institutions globally.

Role Purpose

Design and implement systems architectures to ensure security frameworks. Lead and coordinate with systems administrators and project team members to manage system configuration and maintain cost-effective, efficient hardware and software that satisfies project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Architecture & Implementation

• Design and implement systems architectures to ensure security frameworks.
• Setup servers with hardening and firewall policies between servers.
• Implement applications developed by Azeus in the cloud (AWS, Azure, KSA cloud, etc.).
• Lead the implementation of applications developed by Azeus in client premises.
• Handle server and application software hardening and firewall policies setup.

Coordination & Leadership

• Lead and coordinate with systems administrators in managing system configuration.
• Coordinate with all project team members.

Problem Diagnosis & Resolution

• Identify and analyze system integration problems.
• Resolve server issues by identifying root cause and taking immediate remedial actions.

Quality & Prevention

• Formulate and implement corrective actions in case problems re-occur.
• Formulate and implement preventive actions to prevent issues from happening again.

Optimization & Automation

• Identify tasks that are recurrent and recommend tools to automate those tasks.

Support

• Provide on-call support for support cases.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years in a similar systems engineering, support, or DevOps role.

Skills & Competencies

• Fast learner with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good organization skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing shift schedules.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, KSA cloud).
• Familiar with firewalls.
• Familiar with Linux-based systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
