Role Purpose

To deliver high-quality swimming instruction across all classes in the school, ensuring child safety and supervision at all times while managing swimming staff and contributing to the school's enrichment and sports programs.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Instruction

• Teach swimming to every class in the school.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons.
• Support the needs of all learners as a competent instructor.

Staff Management & Supervision

• Manage the work of the swimming assistant.
• Ensure children are supervised at all times.
• Liaise with class teachers and classroom assistants over the care and supervision of children prior to, during and after lessons.
• Ensure that at all times a member of staff is watching children in the water but not teaching a group.

Programs & Activities

• Organize and participate in galas and other sports-related activities.
• Run extra-curricular provision.

Qualifications & Experience

• UAE approved Swimming Coach Certificate.
• First Aid Certificate and CPR knowledge.
• ADQCC License.
• Qualified to teach swimming.
• Qualified Swim Coach.

• Competent instructor able to support the needs of all learners.
• Passionate and caring educator.
• Commitment to an extensive enrichment programme.
