Supply Chain Director at Tamer Group.
Role Purpose
Lead the supply chain function to ensure efficient, cost-effective operations that support business objectives and drive continuous improvement across procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute supply chain strategy aligned with company goals.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Plan capacity and resources to meet business demand forecasts.
Operations & Execution
- Oversee procurement, logistics, and inventory management operations.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and products.
- Monitor supply chain metrics and key performance indicators.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop the supply chain team.
- Set performance standards and hold team accountable for results.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with internal departments to align supply chain activities with business needs.
- Communicate supply chain status and issues to senior leadership.
- Liaise with external suppliers and logistics partners.
Continuous Improvement
- Implement process improvements and lean methodologies.
- Evaluate new technologies and systems to enhance efficiency.
