Role Overview

Supervisor - SKIMS at Al Tayer Group, located in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Role Purpose

Ensure excellent customer service by effectively managing the department team and controlling department operations, including merchandising and stock control, to achieve departmental targets.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Leadership

• Direct and coach the sales team to achieve excellent standards of customer service in the department.
• Lead by example on the shop floor.
• Resolve customer complaints effectively, either by dealing with them personally or escalating to the store manager.
• Motivate team members to achieve shared goals and acknowledge team and individual successes.

Team Management & Training

• Ensure all new starters are inducted into the department team.
• Ensure all department staff are trained on all aspects of the department in liaison with the store manager and training department.
• Set and maintain standards of grooming, presentation and professional conduct.

Operations & Merchandising

• Analyse sales data to maximize sales on a day-to-day basis.
• Monitor stock in the department and inform the store manager of any depleting stocks or stock loss to take corrective action.
• Ensure the department is merchandised commercially and visually as per the guidelines provided by the brand.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping with regards to the sales floor, fitting rooms and stock areas.

Compliance

• Comply with all company policies and procedures including refund and exchange policy, security, health and safety policies.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school qualification.
• 4–5 years of experience in Sales or Customer Service in a fast-paced environment.
• 4–5 years of experience managing a team.
