Role Overview

Supervisor - Plumbing at Al Shirawi Group. The role supervises day-to-day plumbing and drainage installation activities at the project site, ensuring all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project schedules while coordinating closely with site engineers and subcontractors.

Role Purpose

Oversee plumbing and drainage installation operations on site, ensuring quality execution, safety compliance, efficient resource utilization, and timely progress reporting to maintain project schedules and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Task Allocation

• Supervise daily plumbing and drainage works at site as per approved drawings and instructions.
• Allocate tasks to technicians, plumbers, and helpers.
• Monitor manpower productivity and ensure efficient work execution.

Quality & Safety Assurance

• Ensure work is carried out according to quality standards and safety regulations.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety compliance at work areas.

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with Site Engineer and report daily progress and site issues.
• Identify and report site issues, clashes, and technical difficulties.
• Support inspections and coordinate with engineers during consultant visits.

Materials & Testing

• Check materials received and ensure proper usage at site.
• Assist in installation, testing, flushing, and commissioning activities.

Follow-up & Completion

• Follow up on rework, snag rectification, and completion tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School, ITI, or Diploma in Mechanical or related field preferred.
• 3–7 years of experience in plumbing site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, and sewage systems.
• Experience in building construction projects preferred.
• Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings.
