Role Overview
Superintendent Commissioning Telecom at KBR, based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project. The role requires onshore site experience in MEGA EPC projects.

Role Purpose
Lead the commissioning and operation readiness of sales gas and condensate systems on a major oil and gas project, ensuring all mechanical and functional systems meet contractual requirements and are ready for handover.
Key Responsibilities
Commissioning Leadership
- Provide guidance to commissioning team, EPC contractor, and sub-contractors within area of responsibility.
- Lead the progress of commissioning activities in sales gas and condensate area.
- Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings.
Technical Review & Compliance
- Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
- Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC contractor or vendors.
- Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for various systems and subsystems.
- Verify the readiness of systems and subsystems for MC and RFSU certificate issuance.
Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with licensors and vendors to ensure close monitoring of commissioning activities within their guiding procedures.
- Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
- Provide required advice and support to Sr. Commissioning Manager.
- Monitor and approve the close out of punch lists in area of responsibility.
- Ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required).
- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in commissioning and operation readiness positions.
- Experience in GCC region preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- Preference for commissioning experience on sour gas, hydrogen production, and hydro-desulfurization projects.
Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in sales gas and condensate commissioning.
- Knowledge of mechanical completion and readiness for service verification processes.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple external stakeholders including licensors and vendors.
- Troubleshooting and problem-resolution capability.
- Understanding of EPC project delivery and contractual compliance requirements.
