Role Overview
Subject Matter Expert (SME) at BlackStone eIT, supporting strategic advisory functions in the energy sector.
Role Purpose
Provide strategic advisory support on regulatory frameworks, sector reforms, and large-scale energy initiatives, leveraging deep expertise in policy development, regulatory environments, and cross-sector collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory
- Provide strategic advisory on energy sector policies, regulations, and reforms.
- Offer insights on the UAE energy regulatory landscape and market dynamics.
Policy & Regulatory Development
- Contribute to the development and review of national regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct international benchmarking and recommend best practices.
Project Support
- Support large-scale infrastructure and transformation projects within the energy sector.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including government entities and regulatory bodies.
- Demonstrate ability in cross-agency coordination and stakeholder management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 20+ years of experience in oil and gas, petroleum products, gas regulation, or energy sector strategy.
- Proven experience in policy formulation, regulatory frameworks, and sector reforms.
- Strong exposure to large-scale infrastructure or national-level projects.
- Demonstrated ability in cross-agency coordination and stakeholder management.
- Experience working with or advising government regulators or energy authorities (preferred).
- Background with entities such as DoE, ADNOC, ADNOC Distribution, DMT, or international regulatory bodies (preferred).
- Experience in international consulting firms or advisory roles (preferred).
