Subject Matter Expert – Manufacturing & Industrial Operations (English/Arabic GCC) – Remote with Lilt Production.

Role Purpose

Create and review realistic, high-quality manufacturing and industrial operations scenarios that reflect GCC operational contexts. Your expertise will ensure AI systems understand and respond accurately within manufacturing, production, supply chain, and industrial operations environments.

Key Responsibilities

Scenario Design & Development

• Design realistic Manufacturing and Industrial Operations scenarios in Arabic or English grounded in GCC operational contexts.
• Ground scenarios in production workflows, procurement coordination, quality control, industrial maintenance, process optimization, warehouse operations, and shipping and receiving activities.

Evaluation & Review

• Adapt structured evaluation rubrics for operational problem-solving, engineering analysis, inventory coordination, and production management tasks.
• Review AI and human-generated responses for factual accuracy, operational efficiency, safety awareness, and industrial realism.

Quality Assurance

• Contribute to "gold standard" solutions reflecting best practices across GCC manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Native-level Arabic with strong professional English proficiency.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Manufacturing, Industrial Operations, Production Management, Engineering, Procurement, or Supply Chain Operations.
• Background in one or more relevant roles: Purchasing & Procurement, Production Supervision, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, Logistics Coordination, or Manufacturing Operations.
• Strong understanding of industrial workflows, operational safety standards, production processes, procurement procedures, and GCC manufacturing environments.

Skills & Competencies

• Bilingual expertise in Arabic and English.
• Deep knowledge of industrial workflows and operational safety standards.
• Expertise in production processes and procurement procedures.
• Familiarity with GCC manufacturing environments.

Additional Information

Contract & Compensation

• Independent contractor (1099) position.
• Flexible schedule with no fixed hours, check-ins, or micromanagement.
• Competitive rates with prompt payment.
• Work availability fluctuates with project demand; better suited as supplemental income than primary income source.
• Most tasks require a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week.
• No benefits provided, including health insurance, paid time off, or retirement contributions.
• Hours are not guaranteed.

• Requires reliable availability and on-time delivery once a task is accepted.
• Quality work is expected on all deliverables.

Geographic & Tax Considerations

• Geographic restrictions apply; contractors in regions subject to international embargo or sanctions cannot be engaged.
• As a 1099 contractor, you are solely responsible for your own tax obligations.
