Role Overview

Structural Engineer - Site at AECOM in Abu Dhabi. You will provide site-based engineering support on major infrastructure projects, ensuring structural works are executed in accordance with design specifications and standards.

Role Purpose

To deliver on-site structural engineering expertise that maintains construction quality, ensures compliance with design intent, and resolves technical challenges on major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Site Support & Technical Guidance

• Provide structural engineering support and technical guidance on-site
• Review and interpret structural drawings and specifications
• Resolve technical queries and site issues related to structural works

Quality & Compliance

• Monitor construction quality and compliance with structural design intent
• Conduct site inspections of structural elements during construction
• Support the review of contractor method statements and shop drawings

Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with design teams on structural modifications and site instructions
• Maintain accurate site engineering records

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience, with site-based experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of structural design codes and standards

• Fluency in English
