Role Purpose
Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive competitive excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth across the league.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development
- Establish long-term strategic vision and roadmap aligned with league objectives.
- Develop competitive strategies to enhance league positioning and market presence.
- Identify emerging opportunities and threats in the sports and entertainment landscape.
Planning & Execution
- Create and implement strategic plans with clear milestones and performance metrics.
- Align departmental strategies with overarching league goals.
- Monitor strategy execution and adjust tactics based on performance data.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with club owners, broadcasters, sponsors, and government entities to advance league interests.
- Communicate strategic direction to internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate collaboration between league departments to support strategic initiatives.
Analysis & Insights
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy.
- Evaluate league performance against key performance indicators.
- Generate actionable insights from data to guide decision-making.
Reporting
- Report progress and outcomes to senior leadership and the board.
- Present strategic recommendations and business cases for new initiatives.
