Role Purpose
As a Storekeeper, you support procurement operations and inventory management for the hotel. You ensure that purchased materials, supplies, and goods are received accurately, tracked efficiently, and distributed to departments on time, directly enabling the hotel to deliver memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Support
- Assist with purchasing materials and supplies for the hotel.
- Research prices to support procurement decisions.
- Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
Delivery and Verification
- Accept all purchased products upon delivery.
- Check deliveries against purchase orders, invoices, and specifications to verify accuracy.
- Report discrepancies immediately.
Inventory Management
- Conduct routine inventories.
- Input received merchandise into tracking systems.
- Report shortages or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels across departments.
Requisitions and Distribution
- Issue and deliver items to departments as requested.
- Notify supervisors of low or out-of-stock items.
Invoice Processing
- Receive and process invoices.
- Verify invoice accuracy.
- Scan documents.
- Follow up on discrepancies to ensure timely payment.
