Role Overview
Store Supervisor at Etihad Airways, based in Abu Dhabi. Reports to Manager Stores & Logistics.

Role Purpose
Oversee store operations and reinforce a strong safety culture throughout the organization. Drive safety awareness initiatives, prepare stores for audit, and maintain store operations according to aviation standards through proactive collaboration with Technical Maintenance, Compliance & Quality, and Corporate Safety teams.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Stores & Materials Management
- Manage technical bonded stores related activities, spares segregation, and storage conditions.
- Control and monitor aircraft parts, equipment, supplies, and other technical materials in compliance with General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) storage requirements, rules, and regulations.
- Ensure efficient control on customer inventory and manage physical stock checks and timely reconciliation.
Operations & Logistics
- Manage and ensure smooth running operations at technical stores on 24/7 coverage.
- Ascertain that immediate material support to maintenance is carried out.
- Provide sufficient manpower allocation to stores at all times.
- Manage tool stores related functions by maintaining and ensuring efficient control and efficiency on all tools to support maintenance requirements during routine and maintenance checks.
Process & Standards Development
- Evaluate methods, policies, procedures, and guidelines and propose upgrades to maintain standard practice in storekeeping.
- Develop systems and processes to select appropriate tools and equipment and suitable stores layout.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to Safety and Quality manual procedures.
- Actively promote workplace safety and encourage reporting of unsafe acts, conditions, or risks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in aircraft maintenance engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years aviation industry experience in aircraft maintenance stores and logistics with other airlines; supervisory role preferable.
Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of technical manuals and aviation spares.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably AMOS, and MS Office.
- Resilient individual with ability to adapt to diverse, multicultural environments.
- Self-motivated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership skills to manage team and ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders across all levels.
- Ability to work flexible shifts in demanding conditions.

- 24/7 shift coverage required.
