Role Overview
Store Manager at Apparel Group. This role manages daily store operations, leads retail staff, and drives sales performance while maintaining brand standards and customer service excellence.
Role Purpose
Achieve company objectives and sales targets by ensuring the highest levels of customer service, implementing operating procedures aligned with company and brand standards, and providing retail staff with the skills and support needed to maximize sales and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Performance
- Brief and guide staff on achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Apply creative techniques to achieve and exceed store sales targets.
- Ensure required stock levels are maintained to maximize sales.
- Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program of the company for repeat sales.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to effectively respond to and anticipate customer needs.
- Remain updated about the various brands of the group for suggestive selling to customers.
Operations & Compliance
- Implement operating procedures at the store in accordance with company and brand standards.
- Ensure brand and company policies and procedures are adhered to by all staff at all times.
- Manage the daily roster, leave, and grievances of retail staff.
- Manage stockrooms and ensure minimal stock loss.
- Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without any negligence.
Store Standards & Visual Merchandising
- Maintain visual merchandising standards at the store at all times in accordance with set VM standards.
- Be fashionable and well-groomed and possess up-to-date product knowledge to ensure minimal stock loss.
- Maintain knowledge of new products, trends, and fashion directives at all times.
Administration & Reporting
- Conduct weekly audits of store administration and resolve discrepancies.
- Supervise the store and provide feedback to the Area Manager regarding employees and products.
- Provide feedback to the Area Manager and Operations Manager regarding employees and products.
