Role Overview
Store Manager at Majid Al Futtaim, Retail Discount UAE.
Role Purpose
Ensure flawless execution of assigned tasks within the store while driving retail operations to maximize sales, profitability, and stock management. Deliver best-in-class customer experience and business growth, and develop people by securing second line leaders to manage retail operations and retain workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Execution
- Ensure flawless execution of assigned tasks within the store.
- Match resource availability to customer flow.
- Manage order fulfillment and order parameters in the system.
- Check incomplete orders online and monitor on-time delivery.
Sales & Profitability
- Drive retail operations to maximize sales and profitability.
- Meet and interact with customers to understand preferences and enhance their experience.
- Retain customers through engagement and service quality.
Stock & Inventory Management
- Manage stock, shrinkage, and waste throughout the business cycle.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Oversee overall health and safety within the store.
People Development & Leadership
- Train and develop teams to meet customer requirements.
- Secure second line leaders to manage retail operations.
- Engage Organizational Health Index initiatives.
- Retain workforce within the store.
Strategy & Market Intelligence
- Understand competition landscape and suggest improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 3+ years relevant experience in a similar role.
- 5+ years in Retail Business.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong people and negotiation skills.
- Capable to easily build relationships across all levels.
- Good command of English language, especially in conversation.
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office.
