Role Overview

Store Associate (Max) - Visual Merchandiser at Land Mark. The role is responsible for maximizing sales through exceptional customer service and maintaining desired retail operations, customer service, replenishment, and recovery standards in the store in all aspects.

Role Purpose

To maximize sales and contribute to the store's success by delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining visual merchandising standards, ensuring proper stock management, and creating an organized, secure retail environment that meets all operational and housekeeping requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

• Maximize and contribute to sales within the store through exceptional customer service and retail experience.
• Provide customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional customer service.
• Greet and meet all customers promptly and politely as they enter the store.
• Guide customers throughout the store or to the specific area the customer requests.
• Develop a clear understanding of all departments, products, make, features and after-sales service.
• Give accurate and current information about the product for all inquiries.
• Carry out linked selling by understanding the customer's need and closing the deal.
• Effectively deal with customer queries and complaints.
• Follow procedures for dealing with specific customer orders.
• Increase the customer database by adding new customers to the mailing list.
• Understand the returns policy and ensure effective implementation.

Visual Merchandising & Product Display

• Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed according to standard layout norms including product placement, signage, neat and well-folded items, arrangement in order from smallest to largest, steamed hanged items, and organization by brand and size.
• Dress up mannequins and attend to other visuals.
• Help store merchandiser and/or store manager in product placement and arrangement.
• Maintain a detailed knowledge of the merchandise and products stocked in the store.
• Ensure promotions and fast-selling lines are featured in the store.
• Ensure effective implementation of visual merchandising principles within the stores.

Stock Management & Replenishment

• Ensure all products are price-tagged and bar-coded before display.
• Ensure correct rotation of stock on shelves and assist in accurate stock counts as per store requirements.
• Ensure all stock administration including stock count, inter-branch transfer, dispatch and delivery are recorded on the system in time, accurately and correctly categorized.
• Ensure effective stock replenishment to the store and assure continuous stock availability, ongoing recovery and maintenance in the store.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized back-stock area.
• Provide information about customers, including likes, dislikes and opinions, to the department in charge.

Store Operations & Standards

• Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and grooming etiquettes in store at all times.
• Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without any negligence.
• Keep the employee break area neat and tidy.
• Understand and utilize all reports required for the day-to-day functioning of each store.
• Operate as a cashier and be consistently accurate in money handling, in case applicable.
• Ensure confidentiality with respect to Landmark retail and store sales information.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma minimum.
• Graduate degree in any field required.
