Role Overview

Storage Administrator Expert S3 & NFS (HPC) at DeepSource Technologies, Riyadh, KSA. The role is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, capacity, and secure data access across storage infrastructure.

Role Purpose

Administer and optimize S3 and NFS storage platforms within high-performance computing environments, delivering reliable, performant, and secure data access across the infrastructure while supporting Linux, Kubernetes, and HPC workloads.

Key Responsibilities

Administration & Configuration

• Administer, configure, and support S3 and NFS storage platforms.
• Manage storage access, permissions, quotas, replication, and data protection.
• Support storage integration with Linux, Kubernetes, and HPC workloads.

Performance & Capacity Management

• Monitor and optimize storage performance, capacity, availability, and scalability.
• Perform storage health monitoring, performance analysis, and capacity planning.

Troubleshooting & Incident Management

• Troubleshoot storage, filesystem, and data-access issues across HPC environments.
• Participate in incident resolution and root-cause analysis for storage-related issues.
• Experience troubleshooting complex storage and data-access issues.

Data Protection & Recovery

• Support data replication, backup, recovery, and protection mechanisms.

Automation & Documentation

• Automate routine storage administration and maintenance activities where applicable.
• Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience as a Storage Administrator or Storage Engineer.
• Expert-level S3 and NFS administration is mandatory.
• Experience supporting HPC storage environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux storage and filesystem administration.
• Experience integrating storage with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Relevant storage certifications are preferred.
