Stock Coordinator

Role Overview

Stock Coordinator at Apparel Group. The role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing merchandise and maintaining accurate stock levels, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the seamless flow of products from the stockroom to the sales floor.

Role Purpose

Stock Coordinator works closely with store management, sales associates, and other team members to uphold a high standard of organization and ensure products are available when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inspection

• Receive merchandise and count it physically and electronically to ensure accuracy of information.
• Inspect the quality of products and report discrepancies to store manager or assistant store manager regarding damaged items.
• Check for missing price tags and report the same.

Storage & Organization

• Ensure proper storage and handling of merchandise to prevent damage.
• Classify and stock products in the stockroom according to store procedures to ensure quick availability.
• Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping.

Stock Movement & Replenishment

• Tag newly arrived stock and return products according to senior instructions.
• Assist sales staff in replenishing stocks on shelves to ensure product availability at all times.
• Record inventory inward and outward and maintain reports of the same.

Stock Take & Security

• Assist during stock take processes.
• Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of store security without negligence.

Flexibility

• Flexible to work extended hours during sale and festival periods.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar stock, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems to track and manage stock.

Additional Information

• Must be physically fit with the ability to lift heavy items of around 10 kilograms.
