Stock Coordinator

Role Overview

Stock Coordinator at Apparel Group. The position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing merchandise, maintaining accurate stock levels, organizing products, and ensuring seamless flow from stockroom to sales floor.

Role Purpose

Stock Coordinator works closely with store management, sales associates, and team members to uphold high standards of organization, accuracy, and product availability while maintaining security and housekeeping standards throughout the store.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inspection

• Receive merchandise and count it physically and electronically to ensure accuracy of information.
• Inspect the quality of products and report discrepancies to store manager or assistant store manager about damaged items.

Storage & Organization

• Ensure proper storage and handling of merchandise to prevent damage.
• Classify and stock products in the stockroom according to store procedures to ensure quick availability.
• Tag newly arrived stock or return products as per instructions of senior staff.

Sales Floor Support

• Assist sales staff in replenishing stocks on shelves to ensure product availability at all times.

Inventory Management

• Record inventory inward and outward and maintain reports.
• Check for missing price tags and report findings.
• Assist during stock take processes.

Security & Housekeeping

• Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of store security without negligence.
• Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping.

Additional Duties

• Remain flexible to work extended hours during sale and festival periods.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar stock, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse management system to track and manage stock.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy weights of around 10 kilograms.
