Stock Coordinator

Role Overview

Stock Coordinator at Apparel Group. The Stock Coordinator is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing merchandise and maintaining accurate stock levels, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the seamless flow of products from the stockroom to the sales floor.

Role Purpose

Stock Coordinator works closely with store management, sales associates, and other team members to uphold a high standard of organization and ensure the seamless availability of products.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving and Inspection

• Receive merchandise and count it physically and electronically to ensure accuracy of information.
• Inspect the quality of products and report discrepancies to store manager or assistant store manager about damaged products.
• Check for missing price tags and report the same.

Storage and Organization

• Ensure proper storage and handling of merchandise to prevent damage.
• Classify and stock the products in the stockroom as per store procedures to ensure quick availability of the product.
• Tag newly arrived stock and return products as per instruction of senior staff.
• Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping.

Stock Replenishment and Availability

• Assist sales staff in replenishing stocks on the shelves to ensure availability of products at all times.
• Assist during stock take processes.

Inventory Management

• Record inventory inward and outward and maintain reports of the same.

Security and Vigilance

• Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without any negligence.

Flexibility

• Work flexible and extended hours during sale and festival periods.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar stock, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse management system to keep track and manage stock.

Additional Information

• Must be physically fit with ability to lift heavy items of around 10 kilograms.
