Stock Control Supervisor

Role Overview

Stock Control Supervisor at Ninja, based in the Central Warehouse.

Role Purpose

Lead inventory control activities within the Central Warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy, overseeing stock control operations, and managing the stock control team to maintain compliance with procedures and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Supervision & Accuracy

• Supervise daily stock control activities and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Monitor inventory accuracy KPIs and prepare performance reports.
• Plan and oversee cycle counts, targeted counts, and inventory audits.

Investigation & Compliance

• Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes.
• Review and validate inventory adjustments according to approved procedures.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and audit requirements.

Team Leadership & Operations

• Lead the stock control team and allocate daily workloads.
• Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Operations, Finance, IT/WMS, Quality & Safety, and other relevant teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in Stock Control, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, or Logistics, including supervisory experience.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in inventory counting, discrepancy investigation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes, procedures, and KPIs.
• Experience with WMS/ERP systems and good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
