Role Purpose

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards across all kitchen, stewarding, and back-of-house areas to support seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen & Back-of-House Operations

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen, stewarding, and back-of-house areas
• Wash and properly store dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure it remains clean and serviceable
• Support kitchen and restaurant operations by supplying clean equipment and utensils as required

Cleaning & Hygiene Procedures

• Ensure all cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures are completed accurately and on time
• Maintain proper chemical handling and safety procedures
• Report maintenance, cleanliness, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly

Waste & Supply Management

• Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with hotel procedures
• Assist with the receiving, storage, and movement of supplies and equipment

Event & Banquet Support

• Support banquet and event operations with setup and breakdown requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a stewarding, housekeeping, or food & beverage support role is preferred
• Basic understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety practices

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks safely
• Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
