Role Overview
Steam Boiler Operator at ABIS, responsible for managing and operating steam boilers within industrial facilities.
Role Purpose
Ensure safe and efficient boiler operations through routine inspections, system monitoring, and preventive maintenance while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and operational protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
- Operate and monitor steam boilers to ensure efficient functioning and safety compliance.
- Adjust boiler controls and valves to maintain proper steam pressure and temperature levels.
Maintenance & Inspections
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of boiler systems and associated equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and incidents.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies related to boiler operation.
Coordination
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for repairs and improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant certification or license as a Steam Boiler Operator.
- Proven experience operating and maintaining steam boilers in industrial settings.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of boiler systems, safety protocols, and operational standards.
- Ability to perform inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
