Role Overview
Static Technician II at KBR, responsible for maintaining static equipment and piping systems in good condition through installation, maintenance, and repair work.

Role Purpose
Maintain static equipment and piping systems in good working condition by performing installation, maintenance, and repair work according to established procedures, guidelines, and safety standards while leading a team of technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and Maintenance
- Receive jobs, work instructions, drawings, and specifications from supervisor and perform work accordingly.
- Perform all installation and maintenance work according to SATORP procedures and guidelines.
- Carry out necessary testing including hydro and pneumatic testing.
- Use appropriate tools and equipment for each job.
- Operate heavy-duty specialized tools obtained from the central tool room.
- Operate basic machine tools such as grinder, power saw, drill press, and threading machine.
Team Leadership
- Lead the team of technicians.
Safety and Compliance
- Maintain strict compliance with SATORP safety standards.
- Comply with all safety, health, and environment standards and procedures.
- Report all near misses, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts.
- Receive necessary work permits before starting work.
- Attend safety and technical training as scheduled.
Quality and Operations
- Achieve completion of jobs to quality and schedule according to company standards and requirements.
- Perform good housekeeping during and after job completion.
Technical Support
- Consult with supervisor for any technical issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance (High School level).
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance (Diploma level).
- Valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or accredited Saudi institute attesting to qualifications and competency to perform the work.
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas facilities.
