Role Overview
Sr. Surveyor position with Oceaneering in offshore marine construction and survey operations.
Role Purpose
Lead safe and efficient offshore survey operations, coordinating with clients and crew to deliver accurate positioning and asset documentation while maintaining company safety standards and equipment integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Personnel Management
- Oversee offshore operations including personnel supervision, daily progress tracking and asset utilization.
- Manage and carry out specific job tasks as requested by client or project manager.
- Train fellow field personnel in survey procedures and safe work practices.
- Assist new and fellow employees in performing their work in accordance with safe work procedures.
Safety & Compliance
- Conduct and document daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and safety pre-tower meetings.
- Comply with company safety rules and training; conduct operations safely.
- Report any unsafe condition or practice immediately to supervisor.
- Train and adhere to OII, DOTD or client company specific requirements.
- Assume responsibility for the care and safety of company equipment.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, crew members and project managers.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) or more years experience as a Surveyor II level in the Marine Construction/Survey & Positioning Survey field.
- Valid driver's license and suitable driving record that meets company driver requirements.
- Must have or be able to obtain TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency with GPS, Navigation Software, USBL and scanning sonar.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills, major survey equipment manufacturer's software and equipment.

Additional Information
- Two (2) year technical degree or higher in field of study is desired.
