Sr. Service Technician

Role Overview

Sr. Service Technician at Alghanim Industries. This role diagnoses, repairs, and replaces parts for household appliances and electronic products.

Role Purpose

To deliver complete customer satisfaction by pre-screening, identifying, analyzing, and repairing appliance and electronic product failures.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery

• Pre-screen, identify, analyze, and repair appliance and electronic product failures to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Perform configuring and troubleshooting with hardware, including audio-DSP, A/V control, video and audio devices, and USB-based software applications.
• Order necessary parts after initial pre-screen so they are in hand before visiting customers' premises.
• Work independently without onsite supervision.
• Rely on personal judgment for work safety.

Maintenance and Inventory

• Maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment, and parts inventory.

Administrative and Compliance

• Perform daily administrative functions to include warranty claims and report submissions.
• Track service documents and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintain performance objectives as required by the company.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3 to 5 years of field service experience in all major home appliances.
• Possess appropriate Refrigerant Handling Certificate(s), CET (HVAC), and other applicable appliance or electronics service certifications.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge and proficient use of electronics, appliance, and/or refrigeration tools and diagnostic test equipment.
• Proficient in MS Office and Smartphone technology with the ability to quickly learn proprietary software applications.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Additional Information

• Valid driver's license with a clear driving record required.
• Meet physical requirements generally associated with field service repair, including lifting and bending.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
