Role Purpose

Ensure the quality of products, materials, and processes by conducting inspections, audits, and tests. Identify defects, ensure compliance with industry standards, and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues. Mentor junior inspectors and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Drawing Conformity

• Ensure that all dimensions and embedments are followed.
• Communicate with designers for clarity on any conflicts.

Inspection Compliance

• Execute the required inspection.
• Represent the department for joint inspections with consultants, clients, and other stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

• Enhance processes to improve efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for all non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Monitor implementation of corrective actions (CARs).

Project Execution Conformity

• Ensure that only approved materials are utilized.
• Clarify any project arrangements that require execution.
• Raise any quality concerns that will be encountered to avoid repetition.

Documentation

• Report any non-conformity and observations, including the required root cause analysis.
• Follow the required corrective actions needed for implementation.

Stakeholder Management

• Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Show openness to direction and feedback.

Operations

• Use tools and machinery within efficient cost and time parameters.
• Execute operational activities as per delivery schedules and work instructions.
• Implement quality standards for products, processes, and related activities.
• Execute tasks as per work routines and instructions.

Problem-Solving

• Assist in solving any related issues that arise.
• Escalate any complex operational problems.

Compliance

• Comply with related policies, procedures, and processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in any relevant field.
• 4 to 6 years of experience.
